About The "Monster Hunter Challenge" System on Atreia's Chronicles
We have successfully developed and implemented a new Monster Hunter Challenge System exclusively for the Atreia's Chronicles server. This feature is designed to add a compelling layer of grinding and reward to the core Aion gameplay loop, encouraging players to explore various maps and engage in focused combat.
How the Challenge Works
The system focuses on players locating and defeating specific Challenge Monsters scattered across the game world. These monsters are often unique, high-value targets.
- Monster Hunting: Players must actively find and defeat the designated Challenge Monsters on various maps throughout Atreia.
- Required Kills: To successfully complete a Challenge and claim a reward, players are required to defeat a specific quantity of the same monster. This mechanism encourages sustained effort and repeated engagement with the content.
- Automatic Rewards: The reward process is fully automated and instantaneous. Once the required kill count is met, the corresponding reward is automatically added to the player's inventory (or Cube). Players do not need to visit an NPC or claim the reward manually, ensuring a seamless and immediate gratification experience.
